All About Kids in the Village Early Learning Center

Welcome to our Village!

We are a Christian community committed to providing an environment of learning by facilitating your child's growth physically, socially, emotionally, cognitively, and spiritually.  Our staff is warm and caring and strives to develop meaningful relationships with our families, supporting them in their vital role of parenting. 

​

Kids in the Village Early Learning Center is a ministry of Fairview Village Church. We have been part of the Eagleville community in Pennsylvania for over 40 years. The school is accredited by the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI), is licensed by the Department of Human Services, and is a Keystone Star participant.

... And our Village is FUN!

Kids in the Village serves approximately 175 children from two months of age through fifth grade.  We are open from 6:45 AM—5:45 PM Monday through Friday.

Infant through Kindergarten Full Care programs are offered year-round. Children enrolled in our Full Care programs may attend a maximum of ten hours a day, five days a week.

Staff

We employ professionals who are called by God and committed to using the talents and abilities He has given them in fulfilling their responsibilities with excellence. Our staff members are motivated to provide the best quality of care for your children and receive continuous training and coaching throughout the school year. We value and affirm our staff as professionals committed to providing the best possible early childhood care and education to the children entrusted to them.

Curriculum

Our hands-on learning environment is designed with an understanding of child development, knowledge of each child’s strengths, interests, and needs, and an awareness of their social and cultural uniqueness.

Our curriculum choices and programs are rooted in and viewed through the lens of God’s Word.  Integrated naturally through all that is taught are the basic truths:

1. God loves you.

2. God made you, the world, and everything in it.

3. Jesus is a friend who will never leave you.

4. You can trust God no matter what.

5. You must treat others the way you want to be treated.

6. You can make wise choices.

Safety

​

Fire Safety training for staff is done annually and fire drills are conducted routinely during the year. The children are instructed what to do in the event of a fire. Our emergency routes through the school are posted in each classroom.

​

All KITV staff are required to have active Pediatric First Aid CPR clearances and Child, Infant, and Adult CPR/AED clearances.
